Treated Pine Products

Radiata Pine is not durable in outdoor applications but when it is impregnated with chemicals it can show characteristics of a more highly durable species. The main purpose of the treatment is to protect against insect attack or decay or both. The type of treatment and the hazard level it is treated to denote its suitability for particular applications.
